A bit about JuliAnne Murphy (the marketing professional)...
As a marketing professional and executive in corporate America (and abroad) for 25+ years, I worked in a number of industries: banking, telecommunications, government, sports, construction, real estate development and many start-ups. Since 2014, I've endeavored a number of my own businesses as an entrepreneur and consulted with businesses, large and small.
My background includes serving in huge corporations and on the flip side, being the only person working in starting a small business. I've gleaned much from every experience, as each has its distinct advantages and challenges.
My career has taken me lots of places; I've been blessed to work in a number of states in the U.S., in addition to spending more than 10 years in the Republic of Panama and Costa Rica in Central America. As such, in addition to my native English, I am fluent in Spanish.

My focus in business consulting is helping small companies - especially women in business and solo entrepreneurs - to understand and leverage their communications to help them attract and gain customers. (That is the baseline for what "marketing" means and how it translates to the bottom line.)
My experience in my own businesses and in seeing others in the marketplace is that small businesses are the ones that often fail because they (a) don't understand how marketing works or why it's valuable, (b) are too overwhelmed to get educated about it, much less do it, and (c) give up before they really even try.
Let's face it: when we are shown how to do something - at a reasonable cost - and in a way that actually produces results for our business - we're much more likely to see the value in it. Wouldn't you agree?
